Azkals vs. Singapore in Cebu November 15

CEBU CITY - The Cebu Football Association has announced that the Philippine Azkals and Singapore Lions will face off on Nov. 15 at the Cebu City Sports Center .
“This will be the first for Cebu . We're trying our best to do it successfully to put Cebu on the football map that could lead to Cebu hosting more tournaments in the future,” CFA president Ricky Dakay said.
CFA will also purchase Nike Maxim soccer balls for the game, which will be used for future CFA-sanctioned tournaments, while the improvements at the sports center on the rooms will become permanent already.
This will be the last game for both teams before the 2012 AFF Suzuki Cup and locals are encouraged to wear blue in support of the men's national football team.
”Let's make this hosting happened. We can't do it alone but we need the support of Cebuanos,” Dakay added.
Dakay said tickets for Cebu 's first international hosting stint will be available for sale at any SM Cinema ticket booths nationwide.
The tickets were made available for sale starting yesterday.
The CFA partnered with SM for the distribution of the tickets that will be made available in its 44 ticket outlets in the country. It can also be purchased online at www.smtickets.com.
Patrons in the Visayas can purchase the tickets at SM Cebu, SM Consolacion, SM Bacolod and SM Iloilo, while those coming from Mindanao can buy the tickets at SM Davao and SM Cagayan de Oro.
To prevent chaos on game day, the seats will be numbered and one can actually choose one's seats upon purchase of tickets, just like booking for a movie.
The seat numbers will be reflected in the band that will be given to the viewer for easy counter-checking with the ticket marshals.
The group will also adopt the Sinulog colors in selling the 5,129 tickets
VIP tickets are priced at P2,000, while the red tickets for seats located at the back will cost P800.
White tickets are priced at P600, while the yellow and blue tickets are at P400. Pink and green are P200.
The board will also set up additional bleachers, which will be at P1,000 per seat, and they will give a total of 100 free tickets for radio and online promotions.
Part of the ticket proceeds will be given to the Philippine Councilors' League Cebu City Chapter.*PNA
