THE Medvil FC and Columbia FC drew first blood by beating their respective rivals at the start of the Davao Football Association (DFA)-Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) Premier League 2012 held Sunday at the Tionko Football Field.
Medvil FC shutout the Ateneo de Davao University (Addu) Blue Knights, 3-0, behind the goals of Jomar Acedo (24th,66th) and Joey Arobo (27th).
Columbia FC, meanwhile, downed Kilusang Magkaibigan Multi-Purpose Cooperative , 4-2.
Games will resume Sunday at the same venue in the bootfest organized by DFA under its president Edward "Chaya" Lam and match commissioner Rachelle "Ching" delos Reyes. (RPSA)
