Loyola Meralco, Pachanga eye UFL q’final slots

LOYOLA Meralco and Pachanga Diliman try to complete the United Football League Cup quarterfinal cast tonight when they take on separate rivals at University of Makati field.
The Sparks, coming off a breakout performance against Nomads, battle winless Mendiola at 7 p.m., before second division champion Pachanga clashes with Laos in the final game of Group C at 9.
With Nomads on top of the group with nine points, both Loyola and Pachanga, which have six points each from three matches, are left with no recourse but to win to advance to the last eight.
A draw for Loyola and Pachanga will allow Nomads to advance along with the Sparks.
