Global announces new signings

In a bid to be even more competitive, Global FC has acquired national Under-23 hopeful Mark Hartmann and  reigning UFL top scorer Rufino Sanchez who played for Stallion last season.
Hartmann played for Loyola Meralco the past two seasons, where he was among the league's most prolific scorers, before transferring to Global.
Hartmann's move is a permanent one while Sanchez is just on loan from Stallion for a month.
Sanchez, who scored 18 goals in the league to capture Golden Boot and Golden Ball honors, will make his Global debut in the two-leg Singapore Cup quarterfinal tie with DPMM Brunei late this month.
Global also snapped up defender Emil Muncada who previously played for Pasargad. Muncada is expected to give coach Brian Reid options at the backline as he can play both leftback or right back.
Global also confirmed the signing of former Loyola Under-19 players Amani Aguinaldo and Paolo Bugas.
"We are happy to have signed such quality players who will certainly play important rolesin our bid to win more trophies," said Global owner Dan Palami. "I am sure that the Global supporters will welcome them with open arms."
Aside from the new acquisitions, Global has also confirmed the departure of winger Patrick Reichelt who moved to Thai Div 1 side Singhtarua FC after spending almost two seasons for the club.

  1. Bullshit!! What's worse is that Loyola seem to be more than happy to let go of such players, not just to any club but Global Fucking FC!! They're owned by Meralco, but the way they've gone about their on the pitch business, they don't look like a club that has any money, ambition or the like! Pathetic!

    2. ^^That's just a dumb ass comment.

Phil Younghusband is the best striker for club and country but he's not playing in Thailand, Japan or Korea. Does that make him less important?!?! NO!! Same goes for Mark Hartmann!

    3. agree totally. as a spark supported this is a big loss. Mark is definitely a game changer, a threat in dead balls especially, and just good read for the game. IDk what the Sparks are thinking here. Are they bringing in someone better or equal at least? IDK... this doesn't sound good at all.

    1. Global is always active throughout the whole year. Just look at previous signings etc. They recruit and let go of players more often than you and me change our socks. Its like theyre playing Fotball Manager.

What i find weird is that Loyola dont sign profiled players, when in fact they have the economy for doing that. But im also happy to see that theyre not doing what Global is doing. Global are very extreme when it comes to signing and releasing players.

    2. I agree and I think that losing Hartmann won't be too bad a loss for Loyola. Thay have Phil, James and, when he isn't injured, Gonzalez upfront, more than enough firepower to be a title contender. Loyolas biggest problem has always been it's defence, which never manages to stay focused against the top teams. If they can get someone like Juani Guirado or Sabio then they should be fine.

You think that's enough?!? lol. Phil can't do everything on his own. James isn't that prolific while Gonzalez turns 35 in two months and isn't the same player he used to be!

  4. Should have realized it earlier... that dick face fartlami appointed Reid as the U-23 head coach so he could have better insight as to who the best up and coming players are so he could ultimately sign them! What a cunt!!

    3. So Global is the Manchester City of the UFL? LOL

    4. No, theyre actually worse. Its like if Manchester City would contact Manchester United and ask if they could have RVP and some other players on loan because they want to do better in the CL.

    6. And for some weird reason that is beyond me ManU would say yes. In a way Stallion is just as much to blame for this farce.

I agree! Rufo is supposed to be only on loan at Stallion, now he's being loaned out to Global?!?! And then you have Nierras and Cuntlami who are both all buddy buddy and its spilled over into competitive football! They probably suck each others dick from time to time! Philippine football has become a big ass farce!!

    1. the top clubs in the UFL would want to negotiate with him and his mother club for sure. But I think Sanchez stunted his development by playing in the UFL. He's too good for the league in my opinion. Thailand Premier clubs must be looking to sign him as well. He'll have plenty of options for sure.
