Official List of March Window Transfers

Transfer windows can make or break a season. Bringing in a new addition to the team could bring a new dynamic to a squad. Kaya’s new striker Pablo Rodriguez, for example, has helped spark a four-game winning streak since his arrival from Spain. Other signings could prove disruptive to a team’s dynamic or style, especially as the window happens right in the middle of a busy League campaign. During this period, the difficult decision of having to let particular players leave the club also comes into play. Global stars Carlie de Murga, Ben Starosta, and twins Marwin and Marvin Angeles were all high profile departures – so far without any detriment to the 2012 League Champions. In fact, Global has gone on a spectacular five-game winning run, scoring 31 goals in the process, while only conceding three. It’s a stage in the season that involves plenty of thought and deliberation.

During the March window, teams from both divisions were allowed to drop a maximum of ten players, with a limit of eight additions. An option to move a senior team member to the the Youth team was also made available, should he qualify for the Under-19 category. Moving down to the U-19 allows a player to participate in the UFL Youth tournament, but doesn’t restrict his ability to participate in senior matches.
