DA NANG (13 March 2016) – The Invitational Futsal Club Championship in July will kick-off a busy AFF 2016 calendar which will culminate with the AFF Suzuki Cup final a week before Christmas this year.
The Invitational Futsal Club Championship which is into its third edition in 2016 will be hosted by the Myanmar Football Federation (MFF) and where they have chosen the city of Nay Pyi Daw as the venue.
The tournament which is being fully sponsored by Malaysian agricultural giant Felda will be held on 8-16 July 2016 with ten teams taking part.
The MFF will also host the AFF Women’s Championship which is to be held in Mandalay on 26 July to 4 August.
The AFF Under-16 Championship will held in Phnom Penh, Cambodia on 10-23 July 2016 while the AFF Under-19 tournament will be played in Hanoi on 11-24 September.
The AFF Beach Soccer will be played on 5-13 August 2016 in Da Nang, Vietnam with the AFF Futsal Championship to be held in Bangkok, Thailand on 31 Oct to 6 November.
