FIFA Rankings: Philippines in holding pattern

The Philippines have remained in 122nd position in the latest release of the FIFA Rankings.

The Azkals remain the top football side in the ASEAN conference. This is despite their disappointing showing at the AFF Suzuki Cup in November – in which they were co-hosts – as they failed to make it past the group stage.
Thailand fall one place to 127th, even though they claimed their fifth AFF Suzuki Cup title.
Vietnam, AFF Suzuki Cup semi-finalists, hold onto 136th spot while Hong Kong are down two places to 142nd.
At the top of the AFC conference is Iran in 32nd, followed by South Korea in 39th and Japan in 52nd position.

Overall, the top five nations in world football remain the same, with Argentina leading Brazil, Germany, Chile and Belgium.
